The government has allowed the introduction of five new diploma courses in polytechnic colleges.
The AP government has given good news to students who want to join polytechnic. The state has allowed five new diploma courses to be introduced in many private polytechnic colleges. The State Skill Development and Training Department has issued orders making web designing, 3-D animation graphics, animation-multimedia technology, packaging technology, CSC (Artificial Intelligence) Diploma courses available to students from this academic year (2020-21).
Candidates who are admitted in these courses should have passed ssc or equivalent examinations. The duration of these courses has been fixed for three years. However, admissions will be conducted by Polyset as per SBTET rules.

The St. Mary’s Group of Institutions in The Chebrolu Mandal of Guntur District has allowed the introduction of diploma courses in 3-D animation graphics, animation-multimedia technology and web designing.
Ramachandrapuram Kims College in East Godavari district has allowed the introduction of a diploma course in packaging technology.
Kims Engineering and Technology for Women in Korangi allowed the 3-D Animation Graphics Diploma course.
Diploma course in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) at the International School of Technology and Sciences for Women in Rajanagara.
